Poker Buddy Hand History Browser is a downloadable application that allows you to analyse your play on Betfair Poker. If the answers below do not resolve your question, please contact PokerBuddyHandBrowser@betfair.com providing details of the issue.

What is a Hand History file?

A Hand History file is a file generated when you play on any real money cash table or tournament on Betfair Poker. The file is saved to your computer (typically this will be located at: C:\Program Files\Betfair\Betfair Poker\Hand History\Your Poker Alias) when you have checked the Hand History box in the control panel of Betfair Poker.

How do I load a Hand History file up to the Hand Browser?

After launching the Poker Buddy Hand Browser, simply click on the file icon at the top of the screen and browse to where your hand history files are located (typically this will be: C:\Program Files\Betfair\Betfair Poker\Hand History\Your Poker Alias).

I don't have any Hand History files, how do I save them?

To save Hand History files, launch Betfair Poker, sit at a poker table and in the control panel area tick the box titled 'Hand History'. From now on all of your Hand History information whilst playing Betfair Poker will be saved.

Can I find all hands played against a specific opponent?

Yes, enter the name of your opponent in the search field and click the green arrow to start searching. All hands played against that opponent will now be available. Remember to look at each game tab (Hold'Em Cash, Hold'Em Tournaments, Omaha Cash, and Omaha Tournaments) to find all the different hands played against that opponent.

Is it possible to find a specific game?

If you know the Game ID# for a specific hand, just enter it into the search field and click the green arrow. Ensure you are looking at the relevant game tab for the type of game you are searching for.

Do I have to reload my hands after running a search?

No, simply click the button 'Display all hands' below the search bar and your hands will be re-displayed.

Is it possible to re-sort the columns?

Click on the title of a column to reverse the sorting order. Clicking on 'Date/Time' will change the view to display your hands from oldest to newest. If you click the down arrow in any of the columns you can select to return only specific results such as a particular stake level or date.

I cannot see Profit and Loss for tournaments, is this right?

At this time we do not offer the ability to track P&L for Sit-n-Go's (SNG) or Multi-Table tournaments (MTT). By looking at the last hand of a SNG you should be able to determine your relevant finishing position.

How do I copy a Hand History and include the card icons?

Open an individual Hand History, left click within the display, right click the mouse and 'Select All' and then right click the mouse and 'Copy'. You will now be able to paste your hands.

Is it possible to just copy the text of a Hand History?

Yes, open an individual hand history and right click on the hand, you will now have the option of either 'Copy with Icons' or 'Copy as text'. After selecting you will be able to paste your hand. To post in the Betfair forums, you will need to copy as text.
