Betfair Poker’s most exciting room wide promotion with $10,000 in prize money every week.

Aimed at finding the cream of the Betfair Poker tables, the Leaderboard series will determine the very best players in eleven different categories and stake levels, covering: Cash, Sit ‘n Go’s and MTTs.

The way we have structured the leaderboards means you have the chance to achieve the dizzy heights of the top of one of the leaderboards, whatever stakes you play at! Every time you sit down at a Sit ‘n Go, MTT or cash game your performance will count towards one of them.

Leaderboards Terms and Conditions:

Weekly MTT Leaderboards Terms and Conditions:

1. The Weekly Lower and High Stakes MTT leaderboards runs from Monday 26th January 2009.
2. The leaderboards will run on a weekly basis. From 00:00 (GMT) Monday till Midnight (GMT) the following Sunday.
3. The Leaderboards function in the GMT time zone.
4. Points for the MTT leaderboards will be earned on all Multi Table Tournaments (including satellites).
5. Points will be calculated** in the following way: 10*sqrt(buy_in*players/position)
6. If two or more players end up with the same result at the end of a week the prize pool for the positions will be combined and split between the players in question. For example if two players end up with the same results and both in ranking number 1 then the prize pools for positions one and two will be added together and split equally between the two players.
7. Updates to the leaderboards will happen every four hours and starts at 04:00am, 08:00am, 12:00am, 16:00pm, 20:00pm and 00:00pm. The update process will take up to 30min and the exact time of update will be displayed on the leaderboards page. Winners will be deemed to be the players who top the league at the end of the week and the final results can be found in the Archives for each leaderboard.
8. Payments will be done within 48 hours at the end of each week.
9. Tournaments starting before Midnight (GMT) on Sundays will count towards the previous week’s leaderboard.
10. The leaderboards will automatically update on a daily basis.
11. All MTTs of buy-in (buy-in and house fee combined) of $22 or less count towards the Lower Stakes MTT Leaderboard.
12. All MTTs of more than $22 (buy-in and house fee), not equal or less, count towards the High Stakes MTT Leaderboard.
13. All Betfair Poker players are included; if you do not wish to appear in the leaderboards for any reason, please send a blank email to leaderboard.unsubscribe@betfair.com with your poker alias and "MTT Leaderboards" in the subject line. If you unsubscribe then you will not be eligible to receive any prize associated with this promotion.
14. Betfair Poker Management has the right to change the terms and conditions of this promotion at any time if necessary.

To work out how many points you’ll get from a tournament you need the following starting information:

Tournament Buy In: $109
Number of registered players: 227
Finishing Position: 6th

Calculation to work as follows:

Sit and Go Leaderboards Terms and Conditions:

1. The leaderboards will run on a weekly basis. Tournaments ending 00:00 (GMT) Monday till 23:59 (GMT) the following Sunday will be included.
2. The Leaderboards function in the GMT time zone.
3. Points for the Sit and Go leaderboards will be earned on all Sit \'n Go tables (excluding satellites, coin flip, D2N and chip ‘n chair tables).
4. The 6 & 9 seater leaderboard includes all 6 and 9 seater table, excluding satellites, D2N and chip\'n chair; the Head\'s up leaderboard includes only 2 seater tables, excluding satellites and coin flips;
5. Points will be calculated in the following way: 9-seater SNGs - 1st place = 500 points, 2nd = 300 points, 3rd = 200 points, any other place = -25; 6-seater SNGs - 1st place = 300 points, 2nd = 150 points any other place = -20; Heads up - 1st place= 100 points, 2nd place = -60;
6. If two or more players end up with the same result at the end of a week the prize pool for the positions will be combined and split between the players in question. For example if two players end up with the same results and both in ranking number 1 then the prize pools for positions one and two will be added together and split equally between the two players.

The update process will take up to 30min and the exact time of update will be displayed on the leaderboards page. On Monday morning the leaderboards will contain the final results for the previous week until 12:00pm (GMT).
8. Payments will be done within 48 hours at the end of each week.
9. The leaderboards will automatically update on a daily basis.
10. All SNGs of more than $100 (buy-in and house fee) will count towards the Heavyweight Leaderboard.
11. All SNGs of more than $25 (buy-in and house fee) up to (and including) $100 buy-in will count towards the Middleweight Leaderboard.
12. All SNGs of more than $2 (buy-in and house fee) up to $25 will count towards the Lightweight Leaderboard

Cash Leaderboards Terms and Conditions:

1. The leaderboards will run on a weekly basis. Cash Hands Starting 00:00 (GMT) Monday till 23:59 (GMT) the following Sunday will be included.
2. The Leaderboards function in the GMT time zone.
3. Points for the Cash leaderboards will be earned on all NL Hold’em Cash tables.
4. Points will be calculated in the following way:
5. Players must play at least 50 hands and 250; hands pro rata until they feature in the leaderboard. This means at the end of the week 250 hands must have been played. On Monday and Tuesday 50 hands must have been played on Wednesday 72 hands, Thursday 108, Friday 143, Saturday 179 and Sunday 215.
6. If two or more players show the same result at the end of a week decimal places will be have been taken into account which are not displaced on the site .
7. Updates to the leaderboards will happen every four hours and starts at 00:30am, 04:30am, 08:30am, 10:30pm, 4:30pmand 10:30pm GMT. The update process will take up to 30min and the exact time of update will be displayed on the leaderboards page. On Monday morning the leaderboards will contain the final results for the previous week until 12:00pm (GMT).

10. Stake levels that count towards the High Cash Leaderboard: $10/$20, $25/$50, $50/$100, $100/$200, $250/$500.
11. Stake levels that count towards the Medium Cash Leaderboard: $0.50/$1, $1/$2, $2.5/$5, $5/$10.
12. Stake levels that count towards the Low Cash Leaderboard: $0.05/$0.10, $0.10/$0.20, $0.25/$0.50
